How might we allow for a medical professional to run a remote medical study with patients logging data from a mobile application?

Create a web UX flow for a medical professional to view patient data and customize data visualizations to identify trends and problems in their patients health.

Primary Use Case Scenario

How might we present patient food and symptom data to researchers in the most clear and visually intuitive way?

study dashboard-macros.png

High Fidelity Mockup Ex:

A researcher wants to see a bar chart of macromolecules logged by patients in a given time to make sure they are intaking enough proteins.

Researchers can view patterns in the form of graphs, charts, and timelines, filtering the data by specific variables like macromolecule type, date range, or symptom severity. This enables them to quickly identify trends, such as which foods trigger symptoms or how symptoms evolve after certain meals.

High Fidelity Prototype Ex:

A researcher would want to see how many patients logged a certain symptom in a given date range and be able to investigate further into specific patient profiles.

Mid-fidelity Wireframing

Designing with components and design guidelines to keep a consistent theme while moving through the flow.

home2.png

A researcher needs to access an overview of the study details and identify which patients have been inactive, so they can send reminders to encourage them to log their data—all directly from the home page of the web app.

Patient Directory.png

A researcher needs to access a patient directory that displays each patient’s logging status and the studies they are currently active in. From this directory, the researcher should also be able to send notifications to patients or download their individual raw data.

Macromolecule, Micromolecule, and Symptom Data Visualization

Mid Fidelity Prototyping

Making working prototypes  with complex micro-interactions allows us to show clients and investors what their users would experience while using the product.

View macromolecule data of patients and toggle between the categories to view specific macros.

Customization of patients logging options from researcher's professional account on web app.

View micromolecule data of patients and select which to view specifically.

UX research + planning

Hashing out the user flow through low fidelity wire-frames.
