Hey there, my name’s Ash.
I am a Designer with a degree in Interaction Design from the University of Washington. Currently, my work is focused towards AI research tech in the medical field and I am excited to introduce new design practices to vital technology within the industry. As a first generation Punjabi-American woman, my work tends to be an amalgamation of fine art practices, modern design, and the inspirations provided by intercultural experiences. However, as a Designer, my focus is the inclusivity and usability of the products within our society. I hope to create well-composed, engaging works that cater to our society’s pressing need for unification.
In my free time, I practice photography and create art. While these have been my passions since childhood, it wasn’t until my experience studying abroad in Europe during the Summer of 2019 that my interest in painting deepened. That is, being able to study some of the best artworks in London and Paris allowed me to rekindle my creative side that was lost in the chaos that is life. As a designer, I am motivated to unite my heritage with my love for the arts to work towards finding my niche.
These days, COVID-19 has allowed me to dive deep into my artworks. While these times have been challenging, I’m thankful for this opportunity to create more while refining my craft. I also have a tendency to immerse myself into different projects and hobbies such as puzzling, printmaking, and various fine art mediums.
Currently, I am looking for opportunities to diversify and develop my skills
I also accept commissions for artworks.
